Cathedral Gorge State Park is known for its dramatic, carved cliffs and canyons, remnants of a Pliocene-era lake bed. Visitors from around the world come here to hike the park's picturesque trails and explore its formations and cathedral-like spires. Miller Point, a scenic overlook, offers magnificent views of the canyon. Hiking, picnicking, camping, nature study, photography and ranger programs are the most common activities at the park.
